 It indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in serious injury or even death when the machine is handled incorrectly.

 It indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in serious injury or even death when the machine is handled incorrectly.

 It indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, might result in minor or moderate injury or physical damage when the machine is handled incorrectly.

It indicates detailed contents that should be understood for safe and comfortable use of the machine, and also detailed reference information for effective use of the machine.

Example of Pictographs

The points which should be observed are classified and explained by the following marks.


Dismantling prohibited

mark indicates prohibited items (that should not be done). A concrete description regarding prohibition is displayed near the mark using either a pictograph or text.

The pictograph on the left indicates "Dismantling prohibited".


Professional agent

mark indicates Compulsory items or Instructions (that must be done). A concrete description regarding compulsory contents or instructions is displayed near the mark using either a pictograph or text.

The pictograph on the left indicates a "professional agent" is required.


Electrical Shock Hazard

mark indicates Caution items (including Danger and Warning items). A concrete description regarding caution contents is displayed near the mark using either a pictograph or text.

The pictograph on the left indicates "Electrical Shock Hazard".
