Cleaning and sanitizing blades

Wash the cutter with water and neutral detergent. Remove the food residue clogging between the cutter blade and the plate.
NOTE
  • Do not use a metal brush or polishing powder or cleanser to polish the blade. (It may cause rust.)
  • Resin parts used in rectangle cutters may deteriorate over time.

Wipe off water with dry cloth.

Sanitize the parts according to the following methods and dry them thoroughly.
Disinfection method
Procedures
Disinfection by boiling
Boil it in a disinfection tank of 100°C for more than 5 minutes.
Disinfection by hot air
Disinfect in a hot air storage of 80°C for more than 5 minutes and store in there.
Sodium hypochlorite
Clean it with kitchen paper moistened with 200 ppm solution. Then rinse it thoroughly with water.
Ultraviolet ray
After washing and drying, expose it in ultraviolet ray for 2 hours.
Notes on the use of sodium hypochlorite
  • Be careful with the concentration of sodium hypochlorite. (It may cause deterioration.)
  • Be careful with the soaking time in sodium hypochlorite. 5~10 minutes soaking would be ideal. (It may cause deterioration.)
  • Wash with water thoroughly after soaking in sodium hypochlorite. (It may cause deterioration.)
