Installing cutters

  • When installing the blade, insert the blade into the spindle, and tighten the blade tightening bolt to secure it to the spindle.
  • Tighten the blade tightening bolt slightly by hand to the extent that the threaded part becomes invisible, then fully tighten it using a wrench. Using a wrench from the beginning may break the threaded part.

Use a blade with proper adjustment done to its gap with the mouthpiece. (* 1)

Tools: double-ended wrench (17mm)

Mounting procedures (example of 3-Blade Plate (1 mm))

Open the conveyor cover.

Open the open/close handle (snap lock).

Open the cutter cover.

Insert the blade holder into the spindle.

Align the groove of blade holder with the roll pin of the spindle and fit it in.

NOTE

If the blade tightening bolt is over tightened, the blade holder may not be able to insert all the way in when it hits the spindle.

Tighten the blade tightening bolt.

Tighten the blade tightening bolt slightly by hand to the extent that the threaded part becomes invisible, then fully tighten it using a wrench. Using a wrench from the beginning may break the threaded part.

Make sure to tighten it firmly.

Turn the blade for 1 round by hand to make sure it does not interfere with the mouthpiece.

Close the cutter cover.

Close the open/close handle (snap lock).

Close the conveyor cover.
